A few weeks ago, the kids had some days off of school (surprise, surprise - they always have the day off here) and our friends the Powells, invited us on a little camping excursion at Bellows. We had a great time. Bellows is always fun because there is so much to do there.
The Powells cooked up some fantabulous hamburgers! Afterwards (at dark), we took a walk along the beach. The boys discovered some strange glowing things on the sand....wherever you would walk, there would be neon blue speckles. Come to find out these blue speckles are called noctiluca and they are a type of plankton. Whenever you stepped on them they would get annoyed and light up....it was like seeing stars on the sand. Madison is now doing her science project on these crazy creatures.
Making some yummy dinner

After our beach stroll, the girls created quite the little home inside the van. They watched some movies and talked about girly stuff. The adults talked late into the night...until I couldn't stay up any longer.
When morning came we spent the morning enjoying activities on the beach! Can't beat a beach camping trip!Havyn tried to catch some fish
