Olomana Peak Hike

We hiked the Olomana peak about a year or so ago, it was the kids favorite hike an they had been begging to do it again. The first time we went, we took Havyn because we didn't know better....it was pretty technical with a small child. Havyn was gone for the morning at a friends birthday party, so we decided it was the perfect time to hike to the peak again. It is a great hike with gorgeous views...we stayed at the top and took in the sites for about 45 minutes. Ohhh, beautiful Hawaii!

The view part way through the hike
The 3rd peak...we only take the kids to the 1st
Taylor, Madison and Cole going up one of the steep areas
I like to surprise Steve by saying his name and snapping a shot as soon as he looks :)
Perfect spot for a short rest
Enchanted Lakes and Lanikai in the background
VICTORY!
Rest and recharge
What a view!
Taylor climbing high...this was as high as I would let her go

Wow! I am impressed... what a hike! Maybe we should give it a go... without the kids, of course.

Whoa, the kids look beat. Such a beautiful hike. Taylor is like a little monkey. Looks like a fun time. At least you can get Steve to smile. When I try and take pictures of Javan he makes some funny or mean face, stinker.
